In a way, she really should’ve seen this coming; the flash of green she thought she saw in the café was the first clue that one of her many failed friendships was attending Hexside too, but the pricey room conveniently given to Luz of all people should’ve slapped her in the face immediately.

    It takes her a moment to speak, and when she does, her voice is cold and distant.

    “Still she/her, yeah?”

    Amity mumbles “… yeah.” as a response in an uncharacteristically-small voice.

    “Well, who am I to stop you?” Luz mutters as she holds the door open for the other girl.
