“Then what is this?” Jamil demands, circling Azul in the changing room until he is behind him. He emphasises his point by lifting the clammy flesh of his protruding gut, thumb gently caressing the rounded hang before squeezing hard. “You never used to have this.”
Azul's dieting streak could only last so long before his self-control begins to wane. Luckily for him, Jamil is eagerly awaiting his downward spiral into his inevitable gluttony.

Summary
In which Book 5 plays out exactly the same except Rook is from a family of assassins, and right before the VDC, he and his family are contracted to kill Kalim Al-Asim.
This is a problem for a number of reasons, but the big one is that Rook has never been a fan of killing people.
OR
After being hired to hunt down Kalim, Rook has the latest in a long-line of moral crises that only just gets worse.
