Summary
Chloe Price never had the best luck with family. She lost her dad when she was 14 only for her mom to marry a real asshole a few years later. If that wasn't bad enough the girl she fell in love with turned out to not be the person she thought she was, but Chloe Price is nothing if not loyal. She stayed with her until she finally realized she had no choice but to leave for her daughter's safety. Now over thirty, and single for the first time since she was a child, Chloe moves across the country to get as far away from all the bullshit that has haunted her for years as she possibly can.

A follow-up to the original game seeing Max and Chloe reconciling with what went down in Arcadia Bay. Grounded emotional trauma/healing with supernatural twists that ultimately lead to resolution. Max is forced to cope with elements of BOTH endings of the game, and how her own humanity has been impacted by her time travel, while Chloe stands by her side to help her work through it all, while also handling her own insecurities.
(M Rating is for language and themes, basically. 'Major Character Death' here is... complex to explain without spoilers, but it doesn't entail any major characters being dead in the end of the story.)
