Summary
Magic is by all accounts entirely dead in the world of Karrakell. It vanished much as the mages who wielded it did, slowly and then almost all at once. Now the land is consumed with squabbling kings and dukes and what remains of the fantastical has been melded and twisted into the normal. All is just in this, for the mages were tyrannical beings with the powers of gods, it is good that none remain.
