Summary
Sugimoto was incompetent in so many ways, despite being such a formidable fighter, that there was something Ogata felt whenever he saw him. He didn't know what it was; it felt like a sort of burning inside of him, like ambers that refused to die down. Like anger, but not quite. Or hatred, or spite, or disgust. Those were the things Ogata understood well.

How she’d wished she could escape the confinement of her run down home and live, but her family name continued to hold her back. So when a letter was sent to her family’s residence confirming the enlistment of a man by the name of Daisuke Miyazaki in the army, Y/N jumped at the opportunity. Though, she never expected to gain the favor of the many men in her new division. While this may be a good thing for any other soldier, Y/N was fucked. Her plan to remain an average soldier and keep her identity as a woman a secret had been blown out of the water. There were only so many times she could refuse going to a bathhouse or brothel before they would start catching on.
