   “Schrodinger put his cat in a box with a bottle of poison. He closes the lid. The cat is alive or dead— In this state, the cat is neither. He leaves the box closed. You are the cat.”
   
   Everybody wants to be normal, especially Danny Fenton. That idyllic high school fantasy of being prom king and the football captain never really fit him. The youngest in a family of ghost hunters— Danny wasn’t born to be normal. Then upon receiving his supernatural abilities in freshman year, that distant dream of being normal only seemed to get further away while Danny crafted a new identity for himself as the local legend— The Phantom of Amity Park.

   Dash Baxter, a rising star athlete in the making, needs no introduction— leader of the pack and golden child of Casper High. Danny’s antithesis. He’s perfect . . . or so everyone would lead you to believe. No one suspects that Dash is being haunted.

   Brought together by a misunderstanding, Danny believes he exposed his ghost powers to Dash, but he discovers something more.
