Summary
The Avatar wasn’t unfrozen by Katara, there had been no sign of him for over a century.
When Katara learns that her father and the men of her tribe have all been captured by the Fire Nation, she knows she has to do something. The problem is…she is powerless. Her skills in waterbending were rare and exceptional compared to the average person, but she was a true novice, especially against firebenders. Everyone in the world was virtually powerless against the firebenders.
Everyone besides the Avatar. She clings onto the hope that he’s still out there. And she sneaks out one night to find him, despite the odds.
Word of her foolish mission makes it’s way to Prince Zuko, who’s convinced himself that she knows the location of unfindable Avatar.
