Summary
It all began with that fucking peasant.
Hans Capon, a noble used to the finer things in life, never guessed a blacksmith’s boy could unsettle him so completely. Henry’s defiance was matched only by the weight of his grief. He possessed an unyielding fire that refused to bow before insufferable lords, no matter how handsome they were.
Hate was supposed to be simple. Instead, the more they tried to hate each other, the more the both of them couldn't.

✹ May he who has never loved before, love tomorrow;
And may he who has loved, love tomorrow as well ✹For Sir Hans Capon, the act of giving is arguably not a sin. But his curiosity gets the better of him and he asks Henry to try returning the deed.
The problem now is that the two of them are playing a different game entirely...
A series of vignettes set between the main events of KCD1 that asks the brave question of "What if they banged from the start?"

Summary
For Hans, love bloomed within him like the quiet unfurling of a flower. Tenderly, gently, adoringly.
Nothing could ever have prepared him for the moment Henry's time came before his own.
(A slow burn romance where they both struggle with their feelings, come to accept them, and if Henry passes before Hans instead. Briefly set during KCD2 for just a short bit, but mostly takes place post-KCD2.)

Summary
“He’s testing you, not torturing you. Trials are part of it and He tests those He sees potential in.”
Hans raised his arms theatrically, nearly toppling over.
“Well, then I pass! Hooray for me! Survived trial by shit, blood, and political obligations. Can I go home how?”
“Perhaps,” Godwin said carefully, “He hasn’t found what he’s looking for yet. Survival isn’t always the goal.”
“I wish He’d just tell me, then. Because this is…” he sighed mid-sentence, suddenly feeling very tired and small, “it’s fucking exhausting.”
There were Greeks inside Hans' head, and no one had ever taught him how to deal with them.
