As I grab the jingling car keys and take them out of the steering stalk, the first thing I notice is the fact that even two or three blocks away, I could feel the bass.
I look over at my destination impending, strobe lights making the condensation-covered passenger window a mini party. A towering warehouse previously used for something farm related I’m guessing, but now turned into a trashy and most likely illegal nightclub.
…That I’m about to walk into to try and find a guy who might as well be dead.
“Exactly what I wanted out of my Friday night.”
