Aleksander Morozova loves you (in some sort of way, perhaps).
But not how you expected.
How insane would she think you were if you told her about the dreams, that feel like memories about someone you’ve never met?
Your therapist tells you they’re probably a way of working out your trauma, in some metaphorical way. “He never raped me,” you tell her. “I always liked what he did to me.”
“Maybe dreaming about being raped, then, is you processing that you felt violated emotionally, looking back on your sex life,” your therapist suggests.
“I don’t know,” Your fingers run through the tassels on the pillow on the couch. “It doesn’t exactly feel like rape, what happens in the dreams.” Your therapist has insisted it is, though, that enthusiastic consent is paramount.
You think you hear a voice in your head, I need to give you better dreams, then. What a weird intrusive thought. You don’t mention it to your therapist.- Language:
