It is the summer after graduation and Waverly has allowed herself to be dragged along on a beach vacation with some of the kids from school. She is undeniably excited for several weeks of sun and sand with Chrissy Nedley, but less happy to have Champ Hardy trailing around behind her like a lovesick puppy.
When she refuses to give in to his advances, he sets his sights on making her jealous by turning on the charm offensive with one of the cute lifeguards. The poor girl seems pretty underwhelmed by the attention. In fact, she seems to have eyes for someone else entirely...
