The moonlight suited Wyatt, perhaps because of his connection to it, perhaps because he was a handsome boy being softly illuminated by a silver glow. He looked healthier out there, with the wind ruffling his hair and making his white strands fall into his eyes, a soft smile on his lips as he guided her closer to the fountain in the center of the courtyard. His brown eyes glistened with something more than tears.
If she tried hard, she could pretend that he didn't have a sickly pallor, that his jaw wasn't clenched from the effort he'd made to get there, that his hands weren't shaking with cold.
It was unnerving to see him looking so fragile, wolves were always so full of...life.
