Summary
There are the people who have soulmates, the people who had soulmates, and the people who never had soulmates.
Geonhak does not fall into the latter category. He remembers a typical early childhood consisting of unexplained bruises on his body and ink stains that defy explanation, feather-light and ghostly with the way they danced and bloomed across his skin whenever he was lucky enough to catch their moments of formation. But he certainly does not fall into the first category, either.
