Summary
When Cheng Xiaoshi arrived at the dragon’s lair, clad in nothing more than a flimsy silken garment and carrying a meager bag of gold, he expected to find a white dragon larger than any creature he’d ever encountered—as tall as three heifers, if the farmers were to be believed.
Instead, he was greeted by a slender man, barely his own height, draped in velvet brocade, waiting at the mouth of the cave. The stranger’s white hair and silver eyes should have been a dead giveaway, but Cheng Xiaoshi was too preoccupied with the prospect of being torn apart on his first night as the dragon’s sacrifice to pay much attention.
He should have known who that stranger was.

Lu Guang entered the room. Eyes immediately lowered.
“Look at me.” The prince said.
Lu Guang hesitated, but soon obeyed. “You should rest. You shouldn’t call me this late.” He said politely.
“No, I need to.” The prince replied. “You’re the only one I want to see.”
The servant was silent. Then exhaled a breath, and replied. “You’re drunk.”
“I’m not.” The prince murmured, though he was slightly flushed. “Maybe I just missed you."
