Summary
Everyone had been severely forbidden from approaching the omega quarters tightly guarded by strong and capable security, so it’s been more than three days since Mo Ran last saw Chu Wanning. It’s only normal, then, that when he first catches sight of Chu Wanning’s strong figure, he pauses abruptly, heart rabbiting on his chest.
The first whiff of haitang and fragrant wood, clear and strong, hits Mo Ran like a punch in the gut.
Chu Wanning is wearing a flimsy red robe tailored for his figure; it hugs his broad chest and shoulders tightly, cinching around his lithe waist, falling down the plump curve of his ass to cover his long and toned legs. His long hair, usually held by a tall ponytail, is a little disheveled by the fights he must’ve engaged in, some of the inky strands clinging to the sides of his face damp with sweat, the only sign of exertion on his otherwise pristine composure.
Mo Ran is determined to catch Chu Wanning on a mating run.

Summary
Mo Ran and Chu Wanning are sent on a mission together because they're Sisheng Peak's two strongest fighters, and it's a dangerous mission. So, Xue Zhengyong figures that sending two shizuns makes perfect sense. To Chu Wanning, it makes a little less sense, because Mo Ran clearly hates his gut. After getting hit with a literal sex curse and being stuck in the rain with Mo Ran, who has the hugest boner about him, Chu Wanning will however quickly learn that Mo Ran may not actually hate him a lot. Or at all. Or maybe he feels the opposite, actually.

Summary
To pay off an old debt, Mo Ran is a tyrant in the ring. He wins his fights, but can't seem to win the attention of the elusive doctor who watches his matches yet refuses to attend to him.
“Get the fuck out there,” Xue Meng says as encouraging as he can, shoving Mo Ran forward. Even as Mo Ran walks to the center of the ring, Chu Wanning’s gaze weighs heavy on him. It’s not as ephemeral as it normally is, either.
A low fire begins to stir in Mo Ran’s belly. The crowd turns into a blur, the noise fading to the background as he’s blanketed by Chu Wanning’s presence. It’s a white light in this dark, dingy hellhole and Mo Ran hones in on it like a moth. It’s only when the bell rings that Mo Ran snaps back to reality and comes face to face with his opponent. Even then, he’s filled with one singular thought.
He’s looking at me.
