Summary

“You too,” Jiang Cheng finds himself saying, his brain conditioned to the usual dialogue he gets from cafes. Realization dawns and he finds his face going warm from embarrassment and he scrambles to salvage what’s left of his pride, “I– I mean, thanks– again! I– H-Have a good day– Bye!”
Jiang Cheng practically runs out of the cafe, he can never show his face here again. He’s going to have to change his name, change his appearance, shift his major, move to a different country, and start a new life altogether. He can’t believe he just said that! Why did he say that!
