When ten-year-olds Koushi Sugawara and Daichi Sawamura learn of the myth of the 1000 cranes, they make it their life mission to complete the cranes and get their wishes granted. But sometimes, life has different plans for the dreams we make when we're children and takes on completely different paths. For Suga and Daichi, this might be all too real. So can one thousand paper cranes and naive promises save them?
