Summary
Long before Time had a name…
You all think you know this story. You’ve heard this opening many times before, preceding the tale of the First Spinjitzu Master and his creation of Ninjago and some of its neighboring realms.
But this is not that story. Elemental Powers, and the world itself, did not begin with that man. There were those who came before him.
Long before Time had a name, a Master of Fire entered the Cave of Change to defeat the beast within. He did not return, leaving his knight-pupil and navigator to wait endlessly until the living fire within burnt out.
Years have passed, uncountable thousands of them, and the Merge brought Change to every land it made of a realm. The beast was vanquished by the knight, a calamity was stopped, and the Shatter Dragon was freed and subsequently destroyed. The Well of Souls was lost in its wake, leaving Departed souls to persist on in the Spectral Lands. Just as they once had when the lands were separate realms.
And one particularly lost soul, some time after his proper passing, is finally able to return to some form of life. -

The monster-human city of Home, along with several other cities, has been part of a years-long experiment involving DT technology. The results of DT leaks (read: Dark Fountains) are well known, and the police are prepared to deal with the aftermath. However, after several leaks occur in the span of a few days, the police chief Alphys begins to wonder whether there's something darker going on. Could there be someone purposefully causing these leaks? And what effect will it have on the newest officer-in-training, Frisk?
An AU where the Royal Guard are swapped with the Royal Scientists. Also it exists simultaneously with Deltarune, and Darkworlds aren't really a thing. (The Darkners still exist though). Trying to be close to canon, but will do whatever my brain thinks is a good idea (like starlo bucket). Yeah, it's complicated. UTDR cop swap.

After the events of the Hunter Expansion's OE bad end, Ringo awakens in the muddy fields near NSH's retaining wall. Now a creature of hunger and Rot, they are barely aware, but still retains a semblance of self. Though they aren't entirely sure who that self was.
