Summary
Shinso Hitoshi was not a people person, that was one thing he and his sensei, Aizawa, had in common. Neither of them liked the press or interacting with people, and neither of them were really accepted by those people anyway. One would think that being a hero would be horrible work for people like them, but it wasn't, not really. Hitoshi got a lot of satisfaction from saving people's lives, even if they didn't appreciate it, even if they accused him of being the villain. He assumed it was the same for Aizawa-sensei, but he had never really asked, so he wasn't sure.
He was sure, however, that his sensei really cared for him. Aizawa had approached him after the sports festival, offering to mentor him, and Hitoshi had taken him up on it without a second thought.
As they trained, Aizawa learned that Hitoshi was staying in a group home, his parents having abandoned him due to his quirk. As they got closer, Aizawa filled out the paperwork and took Hitoshi and his cat home to meet his husband, the famous Present Mic, though he was told to please, call him Hizashi.
Then, he met the ball of energy that was Kaminari Denki.
The rest was history.
