(The Akaza and Douma ship is meant to be a maybe, cause idk if I wanna add it here 😅)
This idea was inspired by Animent OG on YouTube where they mentioned what it could've been like if the upper moons broke Muzan's curse and I decided to write a fanfic about it cause the idea was perfect and I figured, why not?
Anywho- onto the summaryWhen Tanjirou was on a mission one day he came across a demon who seemed to be fighting in on itself, as he's about to try to behead the demon it turned out to be the upper moon one, who told him to stay back. Frightened knowing he couldn't possibly challenge an upper moon he fled, upon telling Tamayo about it, she looked into it and figured out that this upper moon was trying to break Muzan's curse. But even more shocking is when he does so and gets more to join him, what will this lead to? Will these newly broken free demons be a problem? Or will Ubuyashiki see this as an opportunity to get a new upper hand at defeating Muzan?

Also, since this is an AU, Rengouku will be alive in this (since Akaza would've broken the curse and wouldn't have fought Rengouku)
