Summary
Sadly, the wind god looked up into the sky which grew darker every second. Nighttime fell over him where it was so bright just a few moments ago. How long had he been here already? Maybe hours. Maybe days. Surely, Venti never knew how much time had passed. Diluc sometimes tried to reason him, telling him he could at least visit him once a month to let him know that he was still alive. It was his way of telling him that he cared.
A wine or two wouldn’t be bad, right? Trying to forget and move on just like always. But oh, it seems there wasn’t any time for it.

Both Dvalin and Barbatos got bits of Durin’s corruption after battling him in them. This time Knights was forced to kill Dvalin cause Venti was still asleep. He wakes to strengthened corruption with little to no idea what to do. Angst or Hurt/Comfort ensues.
Oh and there's Zhongli and Venti because I want more of their interaction. Can be taken both platonically or romantically, depends. This is also my first Genshin fic so constructive critisism (why do autocorrect not work here idk spelling ahhhh) hugely appreciated.

Summary
Over 2000 years ago, Morax has little to no interactions with the Anemo Archon. Decarabian locks himself in his tower, believing falsely that his prison kept his people safe. Morax was never able—nor particularly inclined to—tell him otherwise.
So he was not surprised when Decarabian’s own people overthrew him. What he was surprised at though, was the new Anemo Archon that replaced him.
Or: Zhongli and Venti, throughout the ages.
