   Summary

   It was well-known that no one has ever entered the deadly forest and come out alive. For years, rumors surrounded the woods, rumors of horrifying creatures and gruesome deaths. When Jack is exiled to the forest for a crime he didn't commit, he is promised one thing: “You won't last long enough to suffer.”

   As he looks up at the dark eyes staring down at him from an impossible height, a quick death is all he can hope for.
