It was supposed to be the usual day for Shadow the Hedgehog. Visit the shooting range, practice for a few hours and go back to the flat he shared with Rouge and Omega. That's how it was, that's how it usually went.
Not this time.
He never accounted for meeting a certain two-tailed fox in a place definitely not designed for children. He never accounted for somehow ending up teaching the fox how to shoot properly.
He didn't want to get involved. He couldn't get involved. Not with how much the fox reminded him of Maria. Not with what he knew.
