Jumper shoots up in bed, gasping for air. She’s choking- she can’t breath- and then suddenly hands are cradling her own, rubbing small circles into her palms.
“It’s okay. You’re okay,"a voice says calmly.
Jumper sucks in a strangled breath. Her face is wet with tears, and her brown hair is sweaty, sticking to her forehead. She lets her head fall onto the person's shoulder.

She could hear the laughter.
“Come on ████████! You know you won’t survive this, might as well give up now!”
She could hear the taunts.
“Oh ██████████... ███ ████████… Come out come out wherever you are!”
She could hear the joy.
And she was sick of it.
The entire server, who on good days could only go a few minutes without trying to murder everyone, now came together to hunt her down.
Her own teammates, the people she’d known even before this server, it didn’t matter to them. Even the ones that couldn’t fight, the ones who she’d once called friends, they still helped them.
She couldn’t run forever.
