Summary
"I fear I speak from experience when I say that it is not good to withhold your heart from the world," Cardan begins, "but I believe that it is also not wise to give it away so freely. Especially just because someone has demanded it of you."
Oak blinks at him. "Uncle Cardan, what are you talking about?"
"Your heart, I should not like to tell you what to do with it, but every schoolmate is….a lot of love. Perhaps you ought to listen to your heart a little closer?"
"Love?" Oak's nose wrinkles in disgust. "This isn't - these aren't - Gross, Uncle Cardan!"
"Is not this mortal holiday about love?" Cardan asks, confused.
Oak rolls his eyes. "Sure, if you're old."Jurdan Valentines drabble. With a bit of Oak thrown in.

Summary
"I think snakes get a bad reputation," Jude says. She lifts the black doublet and motions Cardan to turn around, holding it up as he shrugs into it. "I never minded them. I had a stuffed snake I used to sleep with as a child."
Cardan turns around, one elegant brow raised. "Did you?"
Jude nods, tugging the doublet into place. She makes no move to do up the jet buttons. She likes the contrast between the black velvet and the white shirt underneath, the dark and the light of it. She likes the way it hangs with a sort of carelessness from his shoulders, the slightly undone look of him. "His name was Mr. Hiss."
Her husband snorts, slipping his arms around her. "You have a poet's soul, Jude Duarte."
in which Jude and her husband get ready for a revel, with a side of symbolism and snakes.

Summary
Vivi and Heather's bathroom is tiny. The white porcelain tub is, at best, half the size of the one in the Royal rooms back in Elfhame, and he can't fit without his knees poking out of the water. Perhaps a bit undignified for a king, but Cardan doesn't care. Not now, when it's deliciously warm and Jude's fingers are working themselves over his scalp, washing the iron out of his hair.
Short Jurdan fluff set directly after How the King Of Elfhame Learned To Hate Stories.

Summary
Rey throws up her hands. "Ben."
Another sniffle. "What?"
"The stomach ache when we went to Theed? I'm the one who ate all that sweetbread. The flu two months ago? The one you "just couldn't seem to shake" and had for twice as long as average? The muscle aches after training? The Wroshry tree allergies on Kashyyyk-"
"-those are actually mine." Ben freezes, jaw clamping shut at the realization of what he's just said.
"A-hah!" Rey crows. "You are doing it." Her face softens, one fingertip reaching out to touch a blue tinged cheek. "You don't have to, you know. I can handle it." She leans forward. "Ben. Beloved. Other half of my soul….give me back my cold."
"No." Ben sniffles. "Shan't."
In which Rey realizes that she does not, in fact, have an iron clad constitution.
Just a quick silly little fic.

Summary
"Ancient Ithorian?"
"It's really not that different from Old Hapan," Ben says. "Both languages were established around the same time, and use similar syntax and grammar structure." His hands are starting to gesticulate along with him, like they always do when he's excited or happy to talk about something. Rey feels a burst of affection. "They both can be a little heavy handed on symbolism and allegory though-" he draws a rough circle in the air and Rey has to bite down a giggle at the realization that in Ben Solo's mind, language is a ball. She begins to slide along the couch towards him. "-but if you have a basic understanding of their mythology you can generally make headway- mmph."
Pssst. Ben Solo is a nerd. Pass it on.
Just something soft.
