Lan Zhan is not the type of alpha to go around with his fangs bared. Much less to bite an omega. In fact, it was just unlike Lan Wangji to bite anyone altogether, regardless of their secondary gender. The first bite, albeit not deep and much less aggressive than the following ones, should’ve been a red flag for Wei Wuxian. He knows very well that alphas don’t just get the overwhelming urge to bite out of nowhere. No matter how frustrated, upset and stressed out they were. Much less alphas as restrained as the Lans.
Lan Wangji had not bitten him just because he was having a temper tantrum.
He was going into rut.
