Charlotte, in her mid-forties, is a lawyer in Montreal and has to travel to Sanditon in the Eastern Townships to appraise an inn.
Sidney is waiting for her at the inn. He's the one who will assist her in her appraisal. He is anything but looking forward to welcoming her.
