Summary
[Elias] turns his attention more fully to Jon and he frowns. A subtle expression, the corners of his lips tipping downward. After his long existence, he has managed to remain apathetic to anything and anyone that didn’t fit nicely into the world he was creating. But Jonathan Sims, his Archivist, somehow slipped between the cracks of his resolve. Elias would never admit how fond he grew of Jon, and how quickly. He truly was proud of what Jon has done, even if Jon does things… in his own, defiant way. There was no delight or pleasure he derived from Watching his dear Archivist sob and spill piles of statements all over the floor. He Knew Jon did not have a very... warm welcome back. His coworkers - friends, Jon seemed to call them (despite their utter disdain for him) - treated him so poorly. [...] Elias felt himself jerk forward when all he saw was red - red that trickled onto the floor - red that pooled from Jon's forearm as he weeped weakly.
Rated T+ for dubious consent in regards to comfort/cuddling and implied self harm/suicide attempt

Summary
Martin had always been angry. Always at something. Often himself. It was a part of him he kept carefully tucked away, smothered, buried. He'd learned, quickly, to keep that ugly part of him away from prying eyes. He kept the heat under his skin under control, and, unlike his father, never let it touch anyone else.
No one told him how hard that would be, once everything he cared to pretend for was gone.
Or, how Martin and his loving monster boyfriend embrace the joys of arson and avatarhood
