I don't actually have to work in the office as much as I do," he quickly looked away from Anakin before heat could spread to his cheeks. He really only went into the office every day so they could spend more time together. "I can take all my meetings from home. As long as you both are okay with it."

Summary
There were still some moments he regretted his decision, even when faced with the continued evidence of its success. Such as now, when he was making the final preparations with Jabba and his protocol droid for Obi-Wan's upcoming nuptials. Because Amdiala had been so openly vocal about stopping the Hutts, the Chancellor was forced to make a public showing of diplomacy that lead to the agreement of an arranged marriage between the most powerful man in the galaxy and one of Jabba's representatives.
Obi-Wan would much rather have sent in one of his Inquisitors for some aggressive negotiations.

Summary
Anakin shifted so he could look into Obi-Wan's eyes easier while still cushioned on his thighs. "I don't think you see us as something casual, or anything, but I guess I need to know how serious you see this." He gave another reassuring squeeze to Obi-Wan's hand with an accompanying deep breath. "I've been thinking, lately, that it might be time for you to meet Luke and Leia. But I don't want to introduce someone into their lives unless it's real. Unless there's a chance it could be permanent."
"Oh, Anakin," Obi-Wan's voice came out as a whisper and he found himself having to blink back tears that were threatening to fall. "Of course this is real. And I very much hope that it is permanent."
Anakin hoisted himself up to give Obi-Wan a sweet kiss that made him feel cherished. "Me too, baby. Me, too."

Obi-Wan wasn't sure what he was expecting in response, but it wasn't this. Anakin looked sharply over at him, his face going from innocent mirth to what he could only describe as predatory in a matter of seconds. Those bright eyes quickly looked him up and down before a smirk spread across his lips.
"Not yet," he said, lifting his hand and settling it along Obi-Wan's hip. "Are you free Saturday night?"
