Summary
BLU Scout gets beat up real bad by a very frustrated Miss Pauling. AND comes back lmao is he stoid.
I personally see BLU Scout as a butch woman who binds, goes by he/him, and maybe even takes T to pass as a guy because it's the 1960's and life is rough. Maybe I'll post the full headcanons somewhere later.
HOWEVER, it isn't very important in this fic. You can interpret Scout as a cis or trans guy if you want, I think this scenario would go the same either way.ALSO in my version of events RED Scout has 7 older brothers, like in canon. BLU Scout has 6 younger sisters. Relevant in chapter 2.

Summary
The RED Sniper couldn't say when his unlikely friendship with the BLU Spy had become the warmest thing in Coldfront. Only when Spy vanished without a trace did Sniper realize he might just freeze to death without him.
But when Spy's return proves almost as chilling as his absence, Sniper is left with more questions than answers. Why does it feel as if the man who came back is a ghost of the friend he'd come to know? And how far would Sniper go to find out?
