    “In complete silence,” Till snapped. “For twenty minutes.”

    Ivan made a thoughtful little hum, stepping forward until his coat brushed the edge of Till’s sleeve.
    “You set a quick pace,” he murmured, “I figured you were in a mood.”

    “That’s because I’m trying to get AWAY FROM YOU.”

    “You shouldn’t be,” he said gently. “Your scent… it spikes when you’re nervous.”

    Till choked on pure outrage. “You cannot just SAY THINGS LIKE THAT—!”
