It was a usual day for the red-haired commander. It's been calm since the war ended, Cale has been enjoying his free time with his children and family. Lounging around and farming. He even had a hammock built so he could relax outside. That's where he was currently, relaxing in his hammock. Reading while the children played in the farm, Choi Han training nearby. He got so comfortable that Cale fell asleep.
…Only to see when he opened his eyes back up a ceiling he didn't recognize. He was covered in a blanket he didn't remember and was in clothes that were normal in Roan.

These were the words spoken to him by the shell of his former favorite hero. A man Izuku had greatly admired and respected for as long as he could remember.
And they were utter bullshit.
Midoriya Izuku didn’t have the luxury to not become a hero. He had a little brother to protect from a world that wanted to beat them down for things they couldn’t control, and he wasn’t about to let that happen.
So even if he had to drag his broken bloody corpse across that finish line to make it possible. Midoriya Izuku would become a hero, and there was nothing society and the hero public safety commission could do about it.
