Minho’s mom and dad turn to him and nod their head. Jisung gets down on his knees and looks up at them with the biggest eyes he can muster, “I truly love your son, he’s the most important person in the world to me, and I can’t imagine my life without him. I’d like to ask for your permission for his hand in marriage.”
Minho’s dad coughs. His mom clears her throat and they both nod, “We love you like a son, my dear. But it’s not up to us.” Minho’s mom smiles and looks at the cat tree, “You’ll need to ask his little brothers for permission.”
Jisung blinks. “I’m sorry, what?”
OR; Jisung is old fashioned and wants to ask Minho's parents for permission to marry him, but they tell him to ask SoonDoongDori instead.

That’s when he noticed a bobber floating nearby. His eyes traveled up the fishing line, and he jumped when he saw someone standing on the adjacent dock, looking right at him.
Their eyes connected, and Minho’s breath caught in his throat. He hadn’t expected to see anyone else out here this early.
The man looked to be around his age, with the widest brown eyes he’d ever seen. A small smile popped on his lips, and Minho’s heart skipped a beat.
He was pretty—dark, wavy brown hair and honey-toned skin kissed sweetly by the sun. His white muscle shirt fit loosely on his frame, showing what looked to be a tattoo inked down his side.
It had been a while since Minho had seen someone so beautiful that they took his breath away.

He opens the wooden door and blinks one, two, three times, facing the guy — not man, guy — standing at his porch.
After spending days looking for a bunch of middle-aged, gray-haired, or cash-rich looking men, he can't hide the surprise on his face as he looks at this guy wearing baggy jeans, a white t-shirt under a hooded jacket and a pair of hoop earrings.
When he looks at his face, he notices another expression of surprise in his round eyes and soft cheeks.

(in which lonely novelist Minho falls for Jisung through a dating app and flies across the country to surprise him for the holidays—only to find out Jisung looks nothing like his photos. Minho lets himself become trapped in a web of lies, somehow growing dangerously fond of his catfisher-slash-fake-boyfriend along the way.)
