Mara Jade has given her whole life to others. Now a part of a popular girl group, she navigates the world of fame and learns what happens when a young person has free time (spoiler: nothing good,) after she gets sent on hiatus due to an injury. But after meeting an enchanting young man, she's torn between her career and her wants. She's highly inexperienced in following her wants, but Luke definitely isn't.
Luke grew up well, but faces new stress as he learns more about his family history and their jobs as politicians and high ranking government officials. As a rally racer he tries to stay away from the spotlight. But as he gains more and more success and opportunities, how long will the peace really last? He finds the corrupt high pressure society hard to navigate, but Mara Jade grew up in it.
