and, well, she’s right. and isn’t that just fucking awesome.
aka azzi realizes (with some gentle prodding) midway through her rookie wnba season that maybe she and paige were more than friends and she just didn't know it. except they haven't talked in more than a year. cue a mini crashout and some major life re-evaluation. and a lot of wine.

the agent takes his hand and pushes paige's hair off her shoulder. paige resists the urge to flinch.

paige doesn't look at him. she nods to the porcelain doll in the mirror instead, her mouth set with restless determination.
he smiles with too much satisfaction for someone who barely moved a finger and walks towards the door.
