How I imagine scenes of my Rimworld colony in my head. Publishing this just for fun.
The Interstellar Board of Settlement and Civilization is a large organization dedicated to the colonization and unification of Rimworld under a dispatched board's operation. Settlers are dropped in groups with sufficient members in a squad to start their own colony, and are expected to reach their own means to take over the planet By Any Means Necessary. The original 3 dispatched to this planet were military officer and board leader Makar 'Diablo' Harris, frequent settler and farmer Jackson 'Jack' Schroeder, and space navy doctor Miesha 'Doc' Aldemar.
The original plan was to invade the tribal nations to the south of the landing site, those being Fwo'ten and the Tranño Kinship. Fwo'ten was destroyed by the Tranño Kinship save for one settlement, which was taken over by the Board. However, the Tranño Kinship started the war with the Board prematurely, and after a massive assault which the colony of Hialeah was unprepared for, Diablo and several others died in the fallout.
Soon after, the Rhine fell to the same fate, and Trebo was forced to start the Mountain Penal Colony. But now, the sun is dying.
