Summary
What if Hunter used to be a student at Hexside? He was able to maintain his duties while going to school. But once news of a human in the Boiling Isles got out, he had to put all of his focus into the Golden Guard. He had to leave it all, his classes, his best friends Ed and Em, and that silly little crush he had on Edric Blight.
Well after moving in with the infamous Owl Lady, the round eared human, and their weird dog, he’s forced to confront the past he left behind.

Summary
Some people might think that a (relatively) stable home and people who love him would be enough to fix Hunter's problems.
Those people would be wrong.
In fact, in Hunter's opinion, it's just given him more problems; like the Blight boy who makes his heart do funny things and the fact that if he screams in the middle of the night, it doesn't just bother Rascal anymore.

Summary
Royalty AU but make it Goldric because my brain says so.
When The Emperor moves out of the capital due to his illness, Hunter is dragged along with him, being his most loyal guard and only living blood relative.
They move to a seaside kingdom under The Emperor’s rule, a place called Bonesborough, ruled by the well renowned Blight family for generations. He finds Queen Odalia particularly irritating, considering she clearly wants him to marry one of her daughters.
Unfortunately for her, he has no romantic interest in either of the Blight girls. However, her son, a mischievous green haired boy, seems to catch his attention all too easily.

Royalty AU! In this AU, all magic is considered wild magic. Only member’s of The Emperor’s guard are permitted to use it, and even then it’s pretty restricted. Hunter’s eyes lingered on the twins for a second too long, and in that brief moment, Edric looked over and caught his eye. Hunter quickly looked down at his stack of papers and began to draw another light glyph. Before he activated it, he glanced back at Edric out of the corner of his eye. The green-haired boy was still looking at him, smirking, almost like a challenge.
