“Hey guys? This sounds random, but I really love you guys,” Kaelix said, half asleep already. For a moment, the other three didn’t reply. Then they moved. Seible leaned in and gave Freo a kiss on the lips, while Zeal leaned forward and pressed his lips against Kaelix’s. Freo’s hand made its way to Kaelix’s hair, ruffling it gently. Kaelix’s hand crept across Freo’s lap and landed in Seible’s lap, hand firmly on Seible’s thigh.
“I love all of you too,” Seible admitted, cheeks flushing red once he and Freo pulled apart. “Mn, me too,” Freo whispers. “Same here,” Zeal murmurs against Kaelix’s lips.
“So, what are we?” Kaelix asks, relaxing further in his position. He was exactly where he wanted to be in his life. In the arms (or legs) of the people he loved most.
“We’re us. We’re By The Beat. And we love each other,” Seible answered, sighing contentedly.
