Summary
With deviants becoming more and more common, Valdivian has sent an android to assist the police in the repossession of malfunctioning androids. The case is Eddie's worst nightmare, but he'll take it. After all, they requested him specifically.
Maybe there's more to this case than just faulty software.
“You will be working as partner to Detective Eddison Watts investigating the recent string of crimes committed by androids. These deviants have broken out of their programming and we will be working with the police to repossess the malfunctioning androids. Your assignment is to aid this investigation in any way you can.”
“And if I’m met with resistance?”
Wilhelmina pauses, “Your orders from Valdivian take priority. Do what you must to further the investigation and return the lost property to the company.”
