Summary
Cow hybrid Truthless Recluse finds himself confused, and worried over sage's new weight of exhaustion.
And so he trys to help; first with a question, which was answered with tired ignorance. Then food, which only added to the sadness as sage asks to eat alone. And lastly an offer he himself got without asking, thinking the happy motion of the flesh, and love might help rekindle some of the warmth his husband breaths.

Summary
“Good,” he deigns to praise. “Just sit there and take it. Alright, Nilly?” Shadow Milk leans impossibly closer, planting his hands on the bed and letting them take his weight as he hovers over Pure Vanilla. The tips of their noses graze each other. When Shadow Milk speaks, he takes the time to enunciate each word slowly. “Understood?”
Or: Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla mess around with Shadow Milk's ability to shapeshift feat tentacles.

Summary
The Recluse had made it a business to show up and make himself known only to the Sage. It had to be some kind of strange game. But in that case who was in the lead? He should know this– he should. But he cannot read his vantage point when half the board is covered in that sickening vagueness. His head thudded against the tabletop, jars of ink and trinkets rattling in its wake, replacing his blind-sidedness with a dull ache that radiated in his skull.
“I expect you won’t let up anytime soon, you still treat your misdeeds as if they are invisible.” The Recluse droned, hand tugging the thick black brim of his hat down to shield his eyes. “I’ll be returning soon, to see what you have learned.”
That's what he said last time, wasn't it? So condescending.
And then what, over three weeks of radio silence?
Nothing. No watching lectures, no debates, and now he comes crawling back for a power trip.
