Summary
The gatehouse is Lunar’s creation, through and through. An otherwise innocuous building, solid black stone on all four sides. But that was exactly what made it so unnerving. One way in, one way out, one way to escape- from the outside. He's more of a display piece than a brother to Lunar anyway.
But then...it occurs to Eclipse that there are infinite worlds to escape to. He can find somewhere quiet, settle in, and never be found again. It's incredibly lucky that his first try lands him in a safe dimension with no pressing crisis. But the Eclipse he finds there...complicates things. His capabilities, their shared experience...everything seems to fit together so neatly. Or is that just what he wants to believe?
