Summary
Lena Luthor hates Christmas, but after an unfortunate series of events, the CEO finds herself stuck in a small town obsessed with holiday. With her mother's trial plastered across the news, Lena lies about her identity and attempts to hide out in her room at the Danvers' Bed and Breakfast, but nothing seems to go the way she wants them to. And of course, it doesn't help that she's continually distracted by the mysterious blonde woman who always and conveniently comes to her aid. Honestly, if Lena didn't know better, she'd swear it was like magic.

Summary
When Kara makes a stop by her office at L-Corp on Christmas Eve to pick up some extra work, she finds herself face to face with her elusive boss, Lena Luthor, when she steps into the elevator. The only two people at the office, Kara's excited to get home and enjoy the holidays with her family, where as Lena has nowhere to be, and no one to spend it with.
But when the power cuts out, they find themselves trapped inside the elevator, and a normally disastrous event turns into a stroke of luck for both of them as they're forced to lean on each other for company while they wait for help to come and rescue them.
Learning more about each other, it turns into a night that they won't be quick to forget about.

What a perfectly weird and roundabout way to describe the end of a romantic relationship, Kara thinks. “Oh?” she says, aptly demonstrating her own comparative lack of eloquence.
It earns her one of Lena’s crinkly smiles at least, affection clear on her best friend’s face. “Should I feel offended that you don’t seem all that surprised?” she flusters.
“No,” Kara says, “I am,” and she is, is the thing, she's actually stunned, but she’s something else, much more than that.
She’s elated.
“Bummer,” Kara says.
