    He unknowingly listened to the last fading thump of the single drum. It was fleeting and lost of life, it had finally sputtered out into nothing. A heart had finally beat it's last drum.

    Zanka thought he fell asleep to a beating drum of a fleeting heart, then his heart suddenly starts to beat loudly in his ears. He blinks, once, twice, three times. He brings his hands up to rub his eyes, is he hallucinating again? Squinting, he looks around to scan his surroundings properly. He is back, back at.. the weapon selection?

The Cleaner felt the toxin's seeping into his bloodstream, felt it moving through his heart and his veins. His body jerked as Zanka tried to shove Jabber away, but the neurotoxin was working much faster than any other toxin that Jabber had used before. It was about 5 minutes before Jabber withdrew his claws.
