Especially when her daughter seems to love Hermione just as much as she starts to realise she does. Fleur finds it all increasingly agreeable to her.
If only her family would stop making such a big deal of it. Well her family and her late husband’s family… and the magical media, and that idiot ex husband of her lover’s. If only everyone would be so good as to stop trying to get in the middle of her relationship with their unwanted opinions. Yennefer’s way of making up for being gone so often, and for so long, was to shower Tissaia with gifts when she returned. And although the proud rectoress would never allow her affections to be bought, even with the most beautiful or decadent gifts, fortunately or unfortunately that wasn’t a concern for her with Yennefer. She’d fallen for the chaotic, violet-eyed mage a long time ago, and although she enjoyed receiving the gifts, an absence of them wouldn’t have changed her feelings at all.
