Whatever the ancient did, Shadow Milk refused to give in, refusing to let him see beneath the surface of his intentions. Summary
At first she thought it was only the time that changed. maybe she was dragged back into the 14th century in some fever dream. Something her brain cooked up in the split second between when she flew through the car’s windshield and when her skull hit the concrete.
But earth didn’t have dragons. It didn’t have a place called Westeros, it had pigeons instead of ravens carrying letters, it had spring and fall, it had no Dorne or Wall, as far as she knew.
She didn’t remember how she got here. Maybe it was punishment for something she did back in her own world, however far away that might be.
Hopefully it was bad enough to actually deserve this shit, because if it wasn’t, she was going to write a strongly worded letter to Hell’s management as a long winded way to ask one question;
What the fuck?

Summary
--
"You're quite remarkable," Aerion pronounced, with the air of one bestowing a lesser soul their highest due. "Your lips are plush for a woman of—here. Are you from here? Tell me, did your wet nurse overfeed you as a babe?"
He slid a finger along the meat of her cheek, then tapped the corner of her mouth. The gesture was neither tender nor cruel, but exploratory, as if he sought the answers of her face in the texture of her flesh.
"So full," he murmured, half to himself. "The horse-faced bitches of King's Landing would murder their own septas for lips like yours, girl. They would weep to see you."

Summary
"Who's he talking to?" she asked urgently, standing to get a better look at them.
"Prince Daeron," Brenn said, and she whirled on him. "What? I didn't name him."
"That's not a Targaryen prince," she hissed, and Brenn put up his hands.
"I didn't sire him either, Jeddie. Him and one of the sisters was born more on the Dayne side." She turned to look back at him, and made eye contact with Prince Aerion—she darted back down to her seat, feeling her face burn. "What's wrong with you?" he asked.
"Nothing," she said shortly, her eyes straight ahead.
"Can you swear to that?" he asked. "Because they're both looking over here now and I reckon I can take Daeron, but Aerion'd eat me for dinner."
"I fucked up," she admitted, letting it burst out of her chest like cannon fire. "I fucked it up so bad, Brenn—"
