“You…” Mydei starts, “You’re an omega?”
The small fear that Phainon felt quickly slips away at the question, newfound confusion filling its place instead.
“Huh?”
“I thought you were a beta,” Mydei states, a mixture of confusion and something else etched into his features.
Thinking about it, Phainon couldn’t blame him. He always wears scent blockers, never giving off an idea that he is an omega. Although a small part of him thought it would be obvious, despite his body.
He may be in a more sensitive state at this moment, but he feels as if Mydei’s disappointed in finding out his secondary gender. Perhaps he didn’t want someone like Phainon; a buff, strong, and determined omega.
Or;
All of the times Phainon disregarded giving attention to his secondary gender has finally caught up to him. And constantly exposing himself to a nearby alpha was never a good idea.
He thinks it's fine.
That is, until he wakes up, drowned in sweat and slick.

Summary
When he inherited the Worldbearing coreflame, not much had changed for him. Amphoreus is still standing, the war is still going on and they are still fighting for their future but overall it was normal.
—Is what he’d say if he didn’t wake up with nothing between his legs which sounds insane to him because when he went to bed, it was right there and now it’s not. Who would he even ask for help?
Or one thing leads to another and Phainon attempts to baby trap Mydei except he wants it too so they both get busy.
