Summary
Bakugou’s face scrunched up as he clearly waged some kind of internal battle before he deflated slightly, a long, annoyed breath forced from him. He plonked himself directly on the edge of Eijirou’s bed, huffing again.
Eijirou watched, waiting by the door of his own room as his bestie pulled several vile expressions, and then scrubbed a hand over one side of his face.
“It’s bullshit.”
“I know. I know it is, man,” Eijirou finally moved closer, bending to pick up scraps of paper and errant rubbish from across his floor, dropping each piece quickly into the bin before setting it back to rights.
“…I was gonna pick that up, you know,” Bakugou growled, the deep vibration in the back of his throat something he couldn’t have achieved more than a few days ago.
He’d begun his presentation.

Summary
Megumi eyes the papers, heartbeat quickening. He picks up the first one. It’s heavy, thick. Light doesn’t pass through, and the bold title at the top seems to leer at him.
'Adoption Order', it reads.
“This looks real,” Megumi says.
Gojo sips on his lemonade. His blindfold is around his neck, and the sunlight snags against the blue of his eyes. He’s beaming, proud.
“It is.”
Something in Megumi's chest explodes. Shatters. The shrapnel guts him, and his hands work against the paper. He tells himself not to rip it, but a fine tear spreads under his fingers.
“I said to bring fake ones.”
"Megumi-"
"I don't want this. I told you I don't want this! What the hell's wrong with you?"

When Megumi calls Gojo asking for fake adoption papers, the last thing he expects is for him to bring real ones.
And the last thing Gojo expects is for Megumi to refuse.
AKA: Megumi refuses to be adopted by Gojo, and the fallout forces them to figure out what they mean to each other.

Summary
Suo and Nirei are in a fight. That doesn't stop Suo from taking a bullet for him.
OR:
There’s always tension at first, broken by a feat of feigned ignorance that Nirei refuses to let Sakura attempt. Whoever decides to take up point, and it has to be someone other than Nirei for the plan to hold any substance, is caught in the crossfire, and he doesn’t want Sakura to jeopardize an obviously coveted friendship because Nirei is picking a fight.
This is one brawl he can't let his Captain join, and one that thankfully, the rest of his classmates have taken on in his stead. He can feel them all watching, debating amongst themselves on who gets to take up the proverbial sword and face Suo’s wrath.
Anzai and Tsugeura exchange a frantic glance, Sugishita actually looks up over the salad Umemiya helped put together, Takanashi sighs and starts to put down his noodles, but its Kiryu who takes the plate, unphased by Suo’s crackling aura.
“You’re not eating lunch today, Nirei-chan?”

Summary
Every time Gray met Natsu’s eyes, there was that look in them that made Gray’s stomach clench.
“How’s dyin’ gonna settle this, Gray?” Natsu had snarled at him, clutching his arm with a desperation Gray had never seen in him before. “’Cause it sounds like you’re runnin’ away, to me.”
And then, because he had been blindsided and impulsive and devastated, Gray had tried it again—had tried to sacrifice himself for the greater good, for Ur, for Lyon. After all, what importance was his life if it meant saving countless others? If it meant being with Ur again? With his mom and dad?
But Natsu had stepped right into the line of fire of Gray’s Iced Shell, square shouldered and a finality in his voice that struck Gray in the chest. “Go ahead and cast your spell. But I’m not movin’.”

It dawned on Suo that this might be a new form of punishment. He wasn’t sure which was worse. Facing his Master’s immediate wrath and getting it over with right away, or agonizing over the possibilities of what’s to come.
It was becoming a rather difficult chore to hide the apprehension he felt nowadays. And he so very much hated the thought of his unbothered façade crumbling before him for everyone around to see what lied beneath.
He still did his best, of course, to put on that carefree smile. To remain cheerfully stoic. To focus on teasing his classmates rather than his own issues.
But he couldn’t help but feel they were starting to see through him.
What happens when he can no longer deny the reality of his situation?
