Three seconds of pause before they allowed themself to slip out from underneath the desk, three small, expensive looking jewels clutched hard against their chest as they broke into a run. They carefully dashed between market stalls, weaving their way through crowds of people -- just as they had three times this week alone. Just a small slip-up and it could all be over.-

Roy had told him that the best way to sneak into a building was through the vents—unless, of course, you had someone like Dot who was good with computers. Then you could just break the access code and go in the front door—though, if you did that, you had to be prepared for a fight.
Don’t think about Roy right now, he scolded himself. He kicked you out, remember? Because you’re ‘too messy’ or something stupid like that.And honestly, he’d never given Uruto a straight answer when he’d asked how the older boy had learned all of this. Just like he never did when he asked about anything important to the mission, or who exactly the Rising Volt Tacklers were, or anything that Uruto couldn’t see and experience for himself in the moment. Neither Roy nor anyone else ever answered his questions directly, and it was starting to get on his nerves.
