Summary
Victor is a heavier sleeper than he thinks he is, and the creature knows it, courtesy of their first meeting. When Victor falls asleep that night in the Arctic, the creature sneaks up on the tent, disarms him, and intends to humble him against the tent floor.
Humbling him doesn't look the way either of them imagined it.
TLDR tent scene rewrite with emotions at the end

Summary
“I care not for procreation,” the creature rumbles angrily from above, spitting out the word as if in mockery of the way Victor had intoned it prior. “I am not entreating you to make me… a child-bearing wife. Just a friend.”
Or, when Victor makes his assumptions about the nature of the Creature's request for a companion, instead of remaining silent, the Creature speaks up. This puts their first confrontation after the fire on a different path.
