Summary
Have you ever watched (or rewatched) Seabound and thought "huh, Kai has like no emotion through all of this and Nya's sacrifice really only focused on Jay and Nya's relationship." I really hope it's not just me, because if there's one thing I love, it's family relationships, especially found families. so when I watched this Ninjago season for the 5th time and started wishing that Kai wasn't some emotionless machine with SLIGHTLY increased anger issues since his sister's death, I figured "well, I love writing, and I love Ninjago, so I'll just rewrite the ending!!" sooo I did. it's not perfect, and I'll probably go back and rewrite this at some point, but here it is!!!
(NOTE: I am still pretty new to AO3 and this is my first fic I've posted, and I'm still figuring out how all the systems work, so please forgive me if I mess something up lol.)
